Payment is due on the day of the session, if payment is not made on the day then The Adaptive Education Hub reserves the right to require payment in advance of any further sessions.

Pupil Unarranged Absences (Including Sickness)

If the pupil fails to attend the session, with no notice provided, payment in full will be required.

Pupil Arranged Absences(including sickness)

Less than 24 hours notice - payment is due in full (this will be on a case by case basis)

24-48 hours notice - half the fee is due.

More than 48 hours notice (twice in any 3 month period)-  Payment is not required.

More than 48 hours notice (more than twice in any 3 month period) - Half the fee is due.
 

Tutor Holidays

At least one week’s notice will be provided and alternative sessions arranged where possible.

Pupil Holidays

Pupils can choose 4 holiday weeks in the year, over and above school holidays.

Notice less than 48 hours will trigger the terms stated above.

Bank Holidays

Sessions will be available according to detail below, however they are optional.

Good Friday: No Sessions

Easter Monday: No Sessions

May Day : Sessions available

Spring Bank Holiday : No Sessions

August Bank Holiday : Sessions available

Christmas Day: No Sessions

Boxing Day: No Sessions

New Year’s Day : No Sessions

School Holidays (The pupil’s school’s declared holiday dates)

Sessions are available throughout the school holiday, times and day may change and the sessions are not compulsory.  You will be asked if you want holiday sessions, prior to each holiday.  If you commit to sessions then these normal terms will apply.

Tutor Sickness

As much notice as possible will be provided and alternative sessions offered where possible.

Notice To Cancel Tutoring Agreement

4 weeks notice is required to terminate this agreement, from either party.  

What can you expect from a session?

• Each session is an hour duration, online, unless otherwise arranged.
• At the start of each session there will be a short conversation around the content of that particular session.
• The session content will be taught/ completed, with a pupil lead approach.
• After each session an email containing screen shots of work completed, a summary of the lesson and next steps will be forwarded to the pupil, parent, guardian, (as appropriate).
• Should there be specific work a pupil would like to cover, it should be sent to the tutor with at least 24 hours notice.
• The tutor undertakes to support the pupil with homework, by message, outside tutoring hours, dependant on available time.
